A LISTED warehouse building in Bradford city centre could be turned into flats if new plans are approved.

Located behind the former Odeon, Grade II listed 20 Quebec Street has been derelict for several years, with previous development plans having never gone ahead.

Now Aiman Hamayel has submitted a new planning application to convert the building into apartments.

It includes a structural engineer’s report which: “Revealed a property in need of significant works to ensure the long term serviceability and stability of the unit.”

The report says the refurbishment would lead to “limited discernible impact” on the building’s defining features.

A decision will be made by Bradford Council next month.
