A WOMAN has been taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with a head injury following a one-vehicle road collision on the outskirts of the city.

The crash occurred in Factory Lane, Dudley Hill, Bradford, at the junction with Rooley Lane at around 6.30pm this evening.

Crews from Odsal and Bradford Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance and helped released the trapped woman from the vehicle.

A spokesman for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said a doctor, rapid response vehicle and ambulance were sent to the scene and one female with a head injury was taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire police said the woman had suffered minor injuries and had been taken to hospital as a precaution.
