POLICE are still hunting for a driver who fled the scene of a crash leaving a badly injured woman passenger trapped in the wreckage.
He had been driving a blue Volkswagen Golf towards Bradford when the crash (pictured) occurred at the junction of Hunters Park Avenue and Bradford Road in Clayton at 9.45pm on Monday, July 17.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman today said inquiries were continuing to trace the man. The woman, believed to be aged 20 and who suffered arm and hand injuries, was described as being in a stable condition in hospital.
Anyone with information should call PC 2290 Conlon at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101, quoting log 1983 of July 17.
