THERE will be a major buzz in Bradford’s “top of town” on Saturday when North Parade once again hosts an annual street party.
The event, which runs from 11am to 7pm, is in its fourth year, and sees local bars and cafes spill out onto the street for a day of entertainment, food, music, fairground rides and drink.
Bands performing on the different stages on the day include Analogue Bombs, Regan, The Flatpack Four and Johnny Bedford.
This year’s festival will also include the Made Bradford market, with stalls selling crafts and food, all from local producers.
The event also hosts the first Bradford Print Fair, which will feature artists displaying and selling their work on neighbouring Northgate.
The street party was started in 2014 to mark North Parade’s resurgence. In recent years it has gone from a run down and little visited part of the city to a street filled with some of the city’s most popular independent bars.
