YOUNG cricketers from Oakworth Primary School are bowled over with their latest success.
Members of the year-six cricket team have been crowned county champions.
They won through Keighley, Bradford and regional rounds to reach the Yorkshire finals of the tournament, which attracted 250 schools.
Overall, the Oakworth team played 20 matches and lost only two.
In the finals, it won three of its four group matches.
And it was victorious in the ultimate game, against Stamford Bridge, by over 30 runs.
The team was captained by James Powell. Vice-captain was Jake Keslinke and other members were Charlie Jackson, Jacob Davies, Connor Smith, Elis Jones, Louis Stephens, Taylor Hawkins and
Seth Henderson.
"We have never done so well at a sporting tournament and I am very proud of the group," said Jonathan Bradley, for the school.
"I am sure this isn't the last we will hear of this superb group of athletes."
He thanks Andrew Keslinke for his support and help with coaching the team.
