A MAN and woman were taken to hospital following a chip pan fire.
Crews from Fairweather Green and Shipley were called to a fire in the kitchen of a house in Durham Road, Girlington, at 12.20pm today.
A chip pan was left unattended in the ground floor kitchen and the man, in his 60s, suffered minor burns to his hands and smoke inhalation when he put out the fire.
A woman, 65, who was also in the house, suffered smoke inhalation.
Both were treated at the scene and taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
