FURTHER tests are being carried out to determine the cause of a woman’s death in Keighley.

The woman, who was in her 30s, was discovered dead at a house in Byrl Street, Lawkholme, on July 16.

Police initially investigated but are not treating her death as suspicious.

Councillor Abid Hussain, who is also the Lord Mayor of Bradford, was among community leaders who have passed their condolences to her family.

He said: “The family are so upset about what happened, they don’t want to talk about it.”

Fellow councillor and long-time community leader Zafar Ali said he had known members of the woman’s family for more than 40 years and has helped them out in the past.

He said: “My prayers and my heart goes out to the family. The coroner will hold an inquest to decide the cause.”
