Plans for more than 550 new homes at a quarry site in Bradford will go on public display today.

Barratt Homes and Keepmoat Homes are set to put their plans for a housing development at Fagley Lane, Harrogate Road, Bradford, on show this afternoon.

Residents have been invited to attend, speak to a member of the development team and share their views.

Following a grant of Outline Planning Permission in 2015, draft plans have been prepared for a scheme in the region of 559 new homes, open space, access roads and landscaping on land at Fagley Quarry.

The local community are being asked to provide their feedback to help shape the proposals before a planning application is submitted to Bradford Council.

The public exhibition is being held at St Clare’s Community Centre, Moorside Road, Fagley, with people invited to drop-in anytime between 4pm and 7pm.

Anyone unable to attend the exhibition but wanting more information or wishing to share their thoughts about the proposals can access the project website at www.fagleylane.co.uk where there is the facility to submit comments online.

A spokesman for the developers said: "All thoughts and suggestions received as part of the consultation will be carefully considered and used to shape the proposals before a planning application is submitted to Bradford Council."
