CHILDREN at a Bradford primary school have been treated to a day of live music at the school's first annual summer music festival.

The pupils at Rainbow Primary School, in Nelson Street, just outside the city centre, danced to the tuns of classic reggae and soul from local tribute act Selah Sounds.

Alongside the music, there was also a bouncy castle, face painting, and food and drink at the festival on Friday, July 7, which allowed the children to enjoy the day learning about different cultures through music.

Stephany Ngenda, head of school at Rainbow, said: "Rainbow Primary is an inclusive school with a diverse population of 360 children.

"Everyone in our school is committed to nurturing its multicultural ethos, the music festival and the culture days are a positive and fun way of introducing children and families to different languages, dress, food and music from across the world.”
