PUDSEY St Lawrence openers Mark Robertshaw and Adam Waite both hit centuries as they powered their side to a stunning ten-wicket All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League Premier Division win over Lightcliffe.

Robertshaw made 126 not out and Waite 122 not out as they shared an unbroken stand of 266 as St Lawrence gained a maximum 20 points.

For both batsmen it was their second century of the season. Robertshaw hit a six and 15 fours, while Waite struck six sixes and ten fours.

St Lawrence passed Lightcliffe's 262 with 2.2 overs to spare.

Skipper Matt Baxter (91) and overseas player Kashif Naveed (77) had been the mainstays of the Lightcliffe innings as the recalled Oliver Ashford (5-41) and Richie Lamb (3-81) impressed with the ball.

Bottom team Batley picked up a welcome win and added to Townville's recent woes as they recorded a 29-run victory.

No 10 batsman Naik Zada was the key man in the Batley success with an unbeaten 44, which enabled them to post what proved to be a winning score of 180.

Jack Hughes took 5-15 for Townville and followed up with 45 but his side were bowled out for 151. Tariq Hussain took 4-38 and Mohammed Hafeez 3-33.

Premier Division leaders Hanging Heaton ended Bradford & Bingley's eight-match unbeaten run to consolidate their position.

Paceman Tom Chippendale was the key man in their latest triumph with 6-37 as Bradford & Bingley were bowled out for 124, with David Clow (38) the only batsman to make an impression.

Hanging Heaton cruised to an eight-wicket win, with opener Nick Connolly continuing his rich vein of form with 64, which took his aggregate for the season to 777.

He was joined in a second-wicket stand of 103 with Richard Foster, who finished on 40 not out.

Woodlands recovered from 36-4 to defeat Cleckheaton by four wickets at Moorend.

Wicket-keeper Greg Finn hit an unbeaten 94 and shared a fifth-wicket stand of 101 with Liam Collins (54) as Woodlands overhauled Cleckheaton's 195-5.

The Cleckheaton innings was dominated by the Nicholsons, with Ian making an unbeaten 65 and his dad Neil 43.

East Bierley must be sick of the sight of New Farnley's overseas player Mitch O'Connor.

The Sweden captain recently made 168 not out to knock them out of the Priestley Cup and he hit 60 as his side beat them by six wickets in the league.

His innings contained three sixes and nine fours and was a key component of his side's successful pursuit of East Bierley's 207-5.

Skipper Lee Goddard (65no) showed no mercy for his old club and hit a six and 11 fours.

Zarak Khan top-scored with 57 not out for East Bierley.

Farsley maintained their push for honours with a 62-run win over Pudsey Congs.

A fourth-wicket stand of 127 between the impressive Dan Hodgson (92) and James Wainman (79) enabled them to post 292-6.

Jonathan Donnelly was the best of the Congs bowlers with 3-46.

Even an unbeaten century from Irfan Amjad couldn't spare Congs from defeat as they finished on 230-9.

The dependable Chris Henry again demonstrated his value to the team with 5-31.
