SPEED bumps on a prominent Bradford road are being replaced because they have become misshapen only four months after being installed.
Workmen were spotted in Idle Road, Bolton, digging up the speed bumps, which were installed as a traffic calming measure in March.
A spokesman for Bradford Council confirmed the road works were taking place because the humps have become deformed, and new humps laid.
He said: “The road humps installed in Idle Road by a contractor had gone out of shape.
“The contractor has agreed to replace them without charge to the Council.”
