A convertible car has been seized by police today and its driver has been arrested.
In an earlier incident, the driver of the Audi S3 failed to stop for police after being initially spotted by Toller and Manningam ward officers.
On that occasion, the vehicle was pursued along Manningham Lane and Midland Road, but the pursuit was called off due to fears that members of the public were being put at risk.
The vehicle was again sighted by the same officers today whilst it was stopped in traffic. Police arrested the driver and the vehicle was also seized.
Police said a large amount of high value clothing was found in the vehicle.
Police said the driver now faces charges of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and handling stolen goods.
