VINTAGE cars, candyfloss and all the fun of the fair provided some of the entertainment at Wrose Carnival on Saturday.
Crowds turned up in the sunshine to enjoy the entertainment on offer, keeping cool with the occasional ice-cream.
This was the third carnival under new organisers but its history goes back more than 30 years.
Local schools, pubs and clubs all got involved in the day which was rated a big hit by those who went along.
The fun also included the crowning ceremony of the new Carnival Queen.
