QUALITY inspectors have told a Bradford home care agency to make improvements.

Inspectors from the Care Quality Commission visited Caremark (Bradford) based in Broad Lane in May this year.

Although the inspectors found some improvements had been made since a previous visit in 2016, there was still a lack of robust checks and there were concerns still about the safe management of medicines.

Caremark was providing care services to 238 people in their own homes at the time of inspection.

Clients included adults and children, older people, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people with sensory loss.

Most people who used the service told inspectors they felt safe.

The service was ranked as good for being effective, caring and responsive but was told in the inspection report it had to improve how it was led and its safety.
