YORKSHIRE Water has confirmed that around 100 jobs are at risk at its Bradford and Barnsley sites.

The company has said it is pulling out of the business side of its operations but says full details have yet to be finalised.

A spokesman said: “Yorkshire Water Business Services and Three Sixty can confirm they have notified staff of the Kelda Group’s intention to exit the non-household retail market and sell its non-household retail businesses.

"These are early days but we felt it was right to keep our colleagues informed throughout.

"In the meantime, it is very much business as usual for our colleagues and non-household retail customers and we will continue to provide them with the very best service.”
