FAST food giant McDonalds is planning to extend the opening hours of its Bradford city centre branch - effectively allowing it to stay open 24 hours a day.
The company has submitted a licensing application that would allow the restaurant and take away on Kirkgate, which currently has a 5am to 11pm license, to stay open from 11pm to 5am.
People have until July 17 to make representations to Bradford Council about the new opening hours.
A spokesman for the chain said: “We can confirm that we have put in an application to extend the opening hours of our Bradford restaurant.
“If successful, this would allow us to provide a convenient choice for customers increasingly living outside of the nine-to-five routine.
“This is still in very early stages and we continue to work closely with the local council on our plans.”
