A PROJECT by pupils at Shipley College has helped raise over £450 for a local charity.
Awais Chohan and Nathan Grimshaw - Creative Media students at the college worked with volunteering group Saltaire Inspired to curate an exhibition of postcards at the Saltaire Arts Trail last month.
It involved the public creating their own creative designs which will be exhibited in the Saltaire United Reformed Church and Victoria Hall.
The postcards were sold at the end of the exhibition for £5, with money raised given to The Cellar Trust in Shipley, which specialises in helping and people who suffer from mental illnesses.
Around 300 people visited over the weekend, with the church organist playing to provide a musical backdrop to the exhibition.
To date they have managed to raise £458 for the Cellar Trust.
