FIVE people have been hurt in a head-on collision in Mayo Avenue, Bradford.

It happened at about 7pm last night and involved a Ford Galaxy and a Chevrolet.

Four people were in the Galaxy and one in the Chevrolet.

Emergency services at the scene included firefighters from Bradford, paramedics and police.

No one needed to be freed from the cars but three of the casualties were taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary. The woman driver of the Galaxy and her front seat passenger were treated at the scene, said a police spokesman.
