A MAN groped the breast of a female colleague at their place of work in Bradford.

Zameer Ahmed, 35, was convicted by a jury at Bradford Crown Court today of one charge of sexual assault.

The conviction followed a three-day trial.

Ahmed was acquitted of a second charge of sexual assault after he told the court he had squeezed the woman’s bottom by consent.

The court was told Ahmed, a married father-of-three of Grange Street, Wakefield, touched the woman’s breast and thrust himself against her.

He claimed that if there was any contact with her breast, it was accidental.

The court heard he had sent her a series of text messages.

The jury was told that those text messages were “stacked with sexual innuendo.”

Ahmed will return to court to be sentenced on July 7. He was granted bail.

Ahmed has also been ordered to sign the sex offenders register.
