BRADFORD will host its first vegan festival this Saturday.
Vegan Festival UK runs a series of events across the UK, and the group says they decided to start holding festivals in Bradford due to the rising popularity of veganism in the district.
Held at Valley Parade from 10.30am to 4.30pm, the event will feature numerous speakers and experts as well as vendors selling vegan products, including food, drink and clothing.
Among those appearing at the festival are world record marathon runner Fiona Oakes, who has won both the Antarctic Ice Marathon and the North Pole Marathon. She has been vegan since she was six years old.
There will also be workshops on how the best ways to take on a vegan diet.
The group has recently held vegan festivals in Newcastle and Sheffield.
Tickets for the event cost £2. For more information or to buy tickets visit veganfestival.co.uk/
