THREE armed robbers got away empty handed after attempting to rob a security van this afternoon.
West Yorkshire Police were called at 4.31pm to reports of an armed robbery outside the Tesco store in Haworth Road, Bradford, when a security van driver was approached by three men wearing what are believed to be balaclavas and carrying weapons.
The robbers then fled empty handed in a dark coloured or black Volkswagen Golf.
No one was injured during the incident and inquiries remain ongoing.
