PEOPLE who supported a successful race night at a church in Silsden have been thanked for their contribution.
The event was organised by Eric Waddington and took place at St James Parish Church on Saturday. (June 17)
Part of the proceeds will go towards the next Mission Direct trip to Sierra Leone to help provide medication, building materials and educational equipment for people in that country.
And the rest of the proceeds will go towards the upkeep of St James Church.
Mr Waddington said the race night raised more than £800 and thanked the church, local businesses that donated prizes and everyone else who backed the occasion.
