POLICE have called off a search for a missing woman after she returned home last night.
Paula Pickles, 55, was "fit and well" when returned of her own accord to her home in Idle, Bradford, at about 10pm, said a West Yorkshire Police spokesman.
Ms Pickles had been reported missing on the morning of Wednesday, June 14.
Police had issued a CCTV image of the last confirmed sighting of her in Old Park Road which had been taken shortly before midnight the previous day.
Officers said her disappearance was out-of-character and there were fears for her safety.
Yesterday, a group of friends and residents in the area carried out a search Buck Woods in Thackley to try to find her.
The search was organised by Mel, Joanne, and Helen Holmes in the woods, which are only a ten minute walk from Ms Pickles's home.
Ms Pickles's family took to Facebook to register relief at her return and to thank those who had taken part in the search for her.
