BUSINESSES have been urged to be wary if offered fibre optic testing equipment for sale after a theft in Bradford. ?

Sets similar to the pictured equipment were stolen from a parked van overnight between Wednesday and Thursday at the car park of the Campanile Hotel on the Euroway industrial estate.

It took place after suspects broke in through the van’s doors and stolen a quantity of high value tools.

PC Katherine Wadsworth of Bradford District Police, said: "Enquiries are ongoing into this investigation and we would like to speak to anyone who may have information or witnessed suspicious behaviour overnight in the hotel car park in the early hours between Wednesday and Thursday morning.?

"The tools stolen are valuable and highly specialist and we would ask local businesses to be vigilant if offers them such equipment in suspicious circumstances.?

"Anyone offered this equipment, or who has information, is asked to contact myself, PC 3562 Wadsworth, on 101 referencing crime number 13170271977.

"Information can also be given anonymously to the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."?
