ONLY half of the matches in the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League were completed due to the weather.

In Group A, Bradford Moor remain third after beating Bradford Gymkhana by seven wickets in the only game to be completed in the section.

Gymkhana were bowled out for 48, Moor replying with 50-3.

Girlington racked up 315-9 against Allerton (Zahid Khaliq 142, Kamran Mir 51, Tariq Rashid 4-45), who did not have a chance to bat as the heavens opened.

Hallfield will also feel miffed after dismissing Great Horton Church for 134 in 36 overs and being 51-1 after 18 overs when the game was abandoned.

There was no play between Interlink and Omars and Yorkshire LPS A and Apperley Bridge.

In Group B, the only completed game was at Hirst Wood, where Hallfield beat Parkside by five wickets.

Fahad Mir scored 43 for Parkside in their 133-9 and then took 4-24 but still ended up on the losing side.

Rain affected all of the other matches in the section, with Bradford Gymkhana scoring 126-9 (Shakeel Ahmed 4-29) against Yorkshire Friends, who reached 37-0.

Girlington made 214 (Easheed Mahmood 77, Asad Hussain 5-26) against Bowling Baptists, who were 64-1.

Salem Athletic scored 207-6 (Masood Ahmed jnr 44, Mohammed Awais 40), and Mayfield were 18-3 in reply after 8.4 overs, while there was no play between Great Horton Church and Cambing.

In Group C, Cambing have cut Denholme Clough's lead down to a point after the second-placed club defeated Great Horton Meths B.

Meths were put in and were sent packing for 64 in 23.4 overs, with skipper Junaid Khan taking 5-5 in 6.4 overs.

Cambing replied with 69-2 in 14.4 overs.

Bradford Indians easily defeated Bowling Baptist by 94 runs, despite only making 135.

Baptists were all out for 41, with Kumar Gaurav taking 5-25.

TABS beat Mandhata by three wickets after the latter made 151 (Guruwinder Singh 55, Umair Ali Khan 4-34, Nadeem Ahmed 4-38), TABS hitting 155-7 (Tashfeen Yousaf 67no, Nitesh Lad 4-48).

Denholme Clough had their 36 overs per side match against Bradford Moor YCA abandoned due to rain.

Clough made 125-9 (Ishfaq Ali 48, Abid Ali 4-21), and had Moor at 0-2 after two overs when rain stopped play.

The match between Salem Athletic B and Mayfield B was abandoned without any play.

In Group D, Greenfield had a winning draw against West Bowling.

Greenfield won the toss and made 209-7 (Hassan Akhtar 62no, Imran Khan 58no, Usman Ali 4-38).

West Bowling batted out for a draw with 55-7 off 44 overs.

Muff Field A kept the pressure on Greenfield after beating Muff Field B by nine wickets.

The B team made 137 (Kamran Azami 47, Mohammed Bismillah 4-32), with the A team making 138-1 (Karl Burkinshaw 66, Steve Broadbent 40no).

Great Horton Meths hardly troubled the scorer in being castled for 21 by Allerton, who won by ten wickets.

Almost as emphatic was Central YMCA's nine-wicket win over Yorkshire LPS, who were dismissed for 71 in 29.3 overs, YMCA making 72-1 in 26.4 overs.
