SPECIALIST fire investigation officers are looking into what caused a fire to break out in a Bradford shop in the early hours of this morning.
Crews from Odsal, Fairweather Green and Bradford fire stations were called to the shop, in Great Horton Road, at around 3.45am.
On arrival, crews thought people could be inside the building. Six firefighters donned breathing apparatus to conduct a thorough search, but found it was empty.
The fire was found in the basement and the firefighters used three hose reels to put out the flames, then used three high-powered fans to clear the building of smoke.
A specialist fire investigation officer has also been to the scene, as West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service works to determine the cause of the fire.
