A JUDGE has warned an extended prison sentence to protect the public will be considered after a Bradford man admitted a string of offences, including robbery.
Robert Seaman, 29, of Douglas Road, Cutler Heights, Bradford, appeared in handcuffs in the dock at Bradford Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to two charges of robbery, two of theft, one of burglary and one of assault causing actual bodily harm.
Judge Jonathan Rose adjourned sentencing until July 5 for a probation report and remanded Seaman in custody.
The judge said Seaman had served a substantial sentence for robbery. The sentencing judge would have to consider the issue of dangerousness.
He added: "The real possibility of an extended sentence of imprisonment, in order to protect the public, is one the judge will have to consider."
