FIREFIGHTERS from Bradford were called to a pile of burning tyres on an area of land in Fagley in the early hours of this morning.
A crew from Bradford fire station was called out at 1.48am to the land between Fagley Road, Fagley Croft and Gain Lane. The piece of unoccupied land adjoins Morrisons headquarters car park.
A spokesman for the fire service said the tyres were set out like a small race track and a number of them had been set on fire.
Firefighters used water and foam to extinguish the flames.
