AN author is giving a talk at South Craven Community Library in Cross Hills.
Amit Dhand – from Bradford – will speak about his novel, Streets of Darkness, at 7pm on Thursday, June 8.
The talk – being held as part of the Read Regional festival, celebrating authors from the north of England – is the first event to be held at the library since volunteers took over its running.
Proceeds from the £2 tickets will go towards maintaining provision.
Anyone buying a ticket in advance will have the option of borrowing a copy of the book to read before the event, subject to availability.
Call at the library, in Main Street, e-mail enquiries@sccls.org.uk or phone 01609 534502 for tickets.
