NINE months after defeating Judd Trump 6-5 in the penultimate round of the Eleven30 Series in front of a capacity crowd at the Richard Dunn Sports Centre, Ronnie O'Sullivan is back in town.

The five-times world champion, who has also lifted the Masters crown seven times, is appearing at the Bradford Hotel on Thursday, June 15 to help tell his sporting life story (doors open 6pm).

The adventure will start with 'The Rocket' telling of making century breaks at the age of ten and will follow through to his major successes and 147 breaks.

The evening will be accompanied by footage on giant viewing screens of some of his more magical moments on the green baize.

O'Sullivan, who turned professional when he was only 16, won the UK Championship in 1993 when he was seven days short of his 18th birthday.

That is still a record for the youngest player to win a ranking tournament, while he also holds the record for the most competitive century breaks (863) and the most maximum breaks as a professional (13), including the three quickest ever, the swiftest of which was 5min 20sec.

In addition there will be a question-and-answer session with Ronnie.

Special guest on the evening is BBC commentator John Virgo, who will look at snooker behind the scenes and will tell of what it was like to play in snooker halls in the old days.

VIP ticket holders (£65), who will be in Category A seats, will receive a signed paperback copy of Ronnie's book Framed and a picture of Ronnie presenting it.

Other prices for the MJK Sports promotion are gold tickets (£35) and silver tickets (£25), and all tickets can be purchased by ringing 07414-960956 or e-mailing info@mjksports.co.uk.
