WITH last week's matches washed out by the rain, there is time for reflection after four weeks of the 14-week Bradford & District Evening League season.

Division One is headed by defending champions Salem Athletic, but joint top are 2016 finals day play-off champions Salem Athletic and newly-promoted Ciroc.

The latter two, who are both unbeaten, meet tomorrow at the Karmand Centre in what could be an early-season defining match.

Newly-promoted Greenfield have quickly adjusted to life in the top flight and are third, having only been beaten by Salem Athletic.

Greenfield travel to East Bierley this week to face the Adil Rashid Cricket Academy, who recorded their first win of the season during their last outing against Denholme.

Thornton welcome Shelf to their Hill Top ground, with both clubs on three points, having an identical record of one win, two defeats and one rained-off game - the same as Denholme and the Cricket Academy, who are all fourth.

Mayfield, last season’s runners-up, are surprisingly bottom of the table and still looking for their first win, which may come this week at inconsistent Denholme, who tend to struggle at home when they are chasing a total down rather than defending one.

Unbeaten Hepworth & Idle head Division Two, two points clear of new boys Crossflatts, who they defeated in week three.

This week the Westfield Laners hosts the other new boys Raja’s, who share bottom spot with Cross Roads & Daisy Hill.

The two teams with the longest names meet at Ewart Street, when joint bottom Cross Roads & Daisy Hill travel to third-placed Great Horton Park Chapel.

The latter suffered a surprising home defeat at the hands of  Raja’s in week three, albeit by one run.

However, they should prove too strong for the Windhill outfit, who are still looking for their first success of the season.

Cambing, who recorded their first victory for two seasons in week one, entertain second-placed Crossflatts, who will be looking to bounce back from their defeat at Hepworth & Idle last time out.

Fourth-placed John Breare travel to fifth-placed Halifax- based Bradshaw, hoping their batsman repeat their 194-3 in week three.

Tomorrow's fixturesDivision One: Adil Rashid Cricket Academy v Greenfield, Ciroc v Salem Athletic, Denholme v Mayfield & Thornton v Shelf. Division Two: Bradshaw v John Breare, Cambing v Crossflatts, Great Horton Park Chapel v Cross Roads & Daisy Hill, Hepworth & Idle v Raja’s.
