POLICE today released this e-fit of a man wanted in connection with an attempted robbery during which a woman was attacked in her home.

The incident happened in Brae Avenue, Bolton, Bradford, on the morning of Saturday, March 25, when a man went to the woman's home to ask if she wanted her drive paving and left when she declined. 

About 30 minutes later the same man called again and was joined by a second man who pushed the woman over in the hallway and tried to remove her gold necklace before the pair ran off empty-handed. The woman suffered minor injuries to her neck and face.

The man who knocked at the door was described as white and about 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a brown hooded top and black bottoms.

Detective Constable Cressida Jewell, said: "The victim was understandably shaken by what happened and we have been conducting various enquiries to locate the suspects.

"It is possible that this man may have called at other houses in the area and I would ask anyone who may recognise him to contact us."
