A BRADFORD business figure has seen his fortune increase by £12 million in the past year, according to the latest ranking of rich people’s wealth.
JCT600 motors founder and chairman Jack Tordoff (pictured) features in The Sunday Times Rich List 2017, which will be published this weekend.
Mr Tordoff, 82, and his family are now said to be worth £395m, making him the eighth richest person in Yorkshire.

Tenth richest in Yorkshire is Philip Meeson, who runs Yeadon-based holiday airline Jet2.com. Airlines have been hit hard since last summer’s EU referendum and Mr Meeson, 69, has seen his wealth plummet by £90m, to £296m.
David Hood, founder of Saltaire electronics firm Pace, is 14th richest in Yorkshire, with a fortune worth £275m.
