PLAY-OFF fever gripped Bradford City fans looking to secure their ticket for the club’s crunch clash on Thursday.

Hundreds of Bantams fans queued up outside the ticket office at Valley Parade this morning, looking to book their seat for the side’s League One home semi-final play-off first leg clash against Fleetwood Town (7.45pm kick-off).

Supporters were in buoyant mood ahead of the first leg, predicting Stuart McCall’s men will win the first leg and book a place in the League One play-off final at Wembley on Saturday, May 20 (3pm ko).

Chris Roper, 34, of Eccleshill, said: “I’m hopeful we can do it.

“We have not lost at home all season, there is that to look at.

“Hopefully we will get a win at home, than a draw away.

“I’m hoping it will be a good atmosphere too.”

Denise Price, 53, of Baildon, said: “I hope City do it and think they will win 1-0.

“I hope they will get off to a good start in the first leg.

“The club has got something good going on at the moment.”

James Mason, Bradford City chief operating officer, said the club has already sold more than 13,000 tickets for Thursday’s match, but did not expect it to sell out due to the quick turnaround in fixtures from the end of the season.
