CLIFFE Castle Museum in Keighley will host a day of music and art later this month.

This week will see the opening if a new art installation, created in partnership between the museum and South Square Gallery in Thornton.

The Cliffe Castle Curiosity Shop sees artists create works inspired by exhibits in the museum.

And on Sunday May 28 there will be an Uncommons arts event there.

It is the third Uncommons event - they were started to bring “art, music and technology events in unusual spaces,” and there will be music by Napoleon IVth, a workshop by Joanne Armitage and “alternative” tours of the museum by spoken word duo Reet Maff’l.

Previous events have been held in Bradford.

The event has been planned in partnership between M@BU, Recon, Bradford Threadfest and South Square Gallery.

The event runs from 1pm to 4pm.
