POLICE descended on Hall Ings this evening bringing traffic to a standstill.
A number of officers on foot ran round the back of the law courts and then onto Hall Ings and Leeds Road where a male was arrested at around 7pm.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said there was no detail yet about the reason for the arrest or why so many officers were deployed.
