Bolton Abbey and Chatsworth has launched a new Apprentice Chef Programme

The Devonshire Group has announced the innovative programme, offering 12 apprenticeship places across its range of businesses, which includes the award winning Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa, Cavendish Pavilion, and Devonshire Fell Hotel, all on the Bolton Abbey Estate i.

The Duke of Devonshire said: “We are delighted to offer an opportunity to 12 young people, who have a passion for food, to join the Devonshire Group as trainee chefs, within our acclaimed hotels and restaurants on the Chatsworth and Bolton Abbey Estates.

"We are pleased to be able to guarantee a job with a diverse range of career opportunities to those who complete the training.”

The apprenticeship, in partnership with Buxton and Leek College, offers successful candidates the opportunity to be paid an enhanced apprenticeship hourly pay rate whilst gaining qualifications, specialist skills, and valuable experience working alongside professional chefs in exciting and well-respected venues.

Accommodation may be available and any in-college training will take place at a college local to the apprentice.

Buxton & Leek College is part of the University of Derby group.
