A VACANT Masonic lodge will go under the hammer at an auction later this week.

On Thursday, April 27, 13 - 14 Spring Bank Place in Manningham will be among the local properties at a Pugh Property Auction, held at Leeds United Football Club.

The large building was a former meeting place for local Masons, as well as being used for for weddings and functions, but is now empty.

It was formerly the home of the Shakespeare Lodge and the Lodge of Equity.

The list price for the property is £300,000, and the lot also includes a car park for 40 vehicles and half an acre of “surplus” land.

Other properties being auctioned include Cunliffe House in Esholt, a vacant Grade II listed stone farm house with a list price of £150,000 and neighbouring Grade II listed Cunliffe Barn (£80,000).
