A TOP journalist will speak at a conference being held in Bradford next month and looking at online learning.
Bill Thompson, who works on the BBC’s flagship technology programme, Click, is the keynote speaker at Bradford College’s annual Online Learning Conference, being held on May 10.
The well-known technology critic, commentator on digital culture and a pioneer of new media has written for The Guardian, setting up the paper’s website before moving into broadcasting and becoming a regular on Click, shown on five BBC channels.
He will be the main speaker at the conference that takes place in the College’s Advanced Technology Centre on Randall Well Street in the city centre.
The conference is designed to give staff across the College a greater understanding of online learning, its application, benefits and development.
