Arson attack on abandoned stolen car in Avenham Way, Pollard Park, Bradford
AN abandoned stolen car was destroyed in an arson attack in Bradford.
A Peugeot 106 was destroyed in the fire on Avenham Way, Pollard Park, at around 3.45am today, which crews from Idle and Odsal Fire Stations attended.
The fire spread to a BMW car, believed to be a 5 Series and was not stolen, which was parked next to the Peugeot.
The blaze also caused a window in a first floor flat near to the cars to crack due to the heat.
A spokesman for Idle Fire Station said: "The Peugeot 106 appears to have been stolen and abandoned and spread to a BMW car which was parked next to it."
