VILA Halafihi insists the Bulls will be working harder than ever this weekend – despite their enforced 'break'.

An early exit from the Challenge Cup means Bradford are without game-time until their trip to Toulouse on Saturday, April 29.

Omari Caro admitted in yesterday's T&A that a weekend without a game is a great opportunity for the Bulls to recharge their batteries and 'get some bodies back'.

Team-mate Halafihi believes it's also the perfect time for the Bulls to re-double their efforts and look to bounce back from two defeats on the spin.

"We might have a game off but we must put a lot of things right – we are going to take advantage of this time off and improve," said the hooker.

“This week off hasn’t been spoken about between the squad and we certainly don’t see it as a break. We had our time off at the start of the season because we didn’t have an official pre-season.

“It’s frustrating because we've been playing catch-up since the season's opener, but we can use this weekend to work hard and better ourselves.

"It’s going to be a big weekend at training. We're going to be hitting the gym and aiming to put things right on the field."

Back-to-back Kingstone Press Championship losses – to Halifax and Featherstone – leave the Bulls on minus two points and needing to show their resilience once again.

“In this team, unity is something we certainly don’t lack," added Halafihi. "What we boys have been through in the past 6-12 months has made us stronger.

“A lot of people have gone and a lot of people have stayed. It’s only brought us closer and the fact that we’ve shown that fight shows our determination to succeed."
