THE Chief Executive Officer of the aspire-igen group has been nominated for the Director of the Year Award at the Yorkshire Business Leaders Awards 2017.
Caroline Harrison, leader of the successful social enterprise will compete for top honours amongst 42 other bosses at the inaugural dinner at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on May 18.
She said: “This has been an amazing year for aspire-igen with the opening of not one, but two, fabulous new Opportunity Centres in Bradford and Leeds, supporting people of all ages and backgrounds to improve their lives.
“In less than three years, we have gone from being a relatively small organisation in Bradford, to being the region’s leading provider of employability services and work based training, with 18 centres across Yorkshire & the Humber.”
The group recently moved its Bradford base to Cheapside.
