A CAR involved in a crash after the driver failed to stop for police is believed to have been stolen, police revealed today.

The white Fiat 500, which had four occupants, crashed and overturned in Beckfoot Lane, Bingley, shortly after 7pm on Saturday, April 8.

The car is thought to have been stolen during a burglary in Bingley on March 31, said a West Yorkshire Police spokesman.

All four occupants were arrested and later released pending further inquiries.
