A PAEDRIATIC first aid course is being organised for dads living in Bradford East.

The course will run on Saturday, April 15, at Laisterdyke Youth Centre between 10.30am and 1pm.

Organisers at the Better Start Bradford project are keen to get as many young dads or grandads signed up as possible.

The course is not certified but it will give people crucial knowledge on what to do if there is an accident or anything happens to a child in their care.

Spaces are filling up but anyone interested in attending should get in touch as soon as possible with Humera Khan, who is family and community engagement worker at Better Start Bradford, on 01274 723146 or call Sally Teasdale on 07494 558337.

Better Start Bradford will also be hosting a ‘Family Action Funday’ on Wednesday, April 12.

Families with under-fours are being encouraged to get together in City Park from 11am to 3pm for the event.
