A BRADFORD school will battle with others across the region next week to be crowned the most enterprising school.
Dixons Kings Academy will next week take part in the Mosaic Yorkshire Enterprise Challenge Regional Final, the mentoring charity founded by The Prince of Wales and part of The Prince’s Trust.
The school, in Lidget Green, won the contest last year, and will this year compete against teams from Leeds schools Corpus Christi, Leeds City Academy, Mount St Mary Catholic High School and Swallow Hill Community College.
The contest takes place on March 29 at the offices of KPMG in Leeds.
The teams compete in an online business game where they develop, market and sell a new product.
Claire Young, entrepreneur former runner-up of The Apprentice will be the event’s keynote speaker.
The winning team will progress to the Grand Final in London in May.
