WEST Bowling are forced to make two changes when they welcome Warrington-based Rylands Sharks to Emsley's Rec in Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Three.

Centre Jack Milburn misses out with a torn bicep and hooker Kyle Carter is unavailable, paving the way for prop Nat Light to return to the squad alongside Elliot Cousin, who has completed a suspension.

Journeyman Cousin, who learnt his trade with Bowling as a junior and is back on the books after a spell at Dudley Hill, will fill the vacant centre berth, while Light is a regular pack member who missed last week’s stunning win against Dewsbury Moor due to work commitments.

West’s coach Glenn Barraclough has run the rule over the opposition, saying: “Rylands Sharks are a big, physical side who have come out on the right side of their two close opening matches.

"We need to build on our recent performances and keep moving forward."

Bradford Dudley Hill, who are on the crest of a wave as joint Division Two pacesetters alongside Crosfields, will be under no illusions as to the task facing them down the road at Drighlington.

Hill, who are on fire at the moment, keep the same squad that beat East Leeds last time out and will be searching for their second away success on the trot, while the well-drilled Drighlington outfit are still waiting for their first points after two narrow defeats.

Clayton bring their Pennine League Division Two programme to a close when they entertain Wakefield City.

The Villagers shipped the visitors from the Andrew Bennett Memorial Trophy 30-16 on their last visit to Lidget Green and will be looking to establish a solid platform for their early-April visit to Ovenden in the semi-finals.

Brighouse Rangers are on Andrew Bennett Memorial Trophy semi-final duty at Illingworth.

Rangers warmed up for the task by knocking Cutsyke out of the competition 66-6 at Russell Way last week.

They also have the impetus of pulling off a league win over their Halifax rivals on their last visit, plus the remarkable form of a re-energised pack that is carrying all before it at the business end of the season.
