A MAN arrested on suspicion of arson after two firebomb incidents has been released on bail.

The 38 year old man was arrested yesterday in relation to incidents at Raja’s Appetisers Bar, a take away on Leeds Road.

Police and firefighters were called out to the take away on two occasions this month, on March 6 and March 20, following reports of a fire.

On each occasion a “suspect device” was found in the business, and bomb disposal experts were called in to deal with them.

No one was injured on either occasion but both incidents led to police setting up a cordon around the immediate area to protect the public.

The man, from Bradford was interviewed by police yesterday, and released on bail pending further inquiries later in the evening.
