THREE suspected arson attacks on a Heckmondwike street were reported in the space of a few minutes last night.
At 9pm fire crews from Cleckheaton and Dewsbury were called to Church Lane after numerous reports of fires.
Two transit vans in a parking area were badly damaged by a fire. Further up the road a wheelie bin stored outside a flats complex was set alight. And a resident of a second floor flat at a building on the street returned home to find his front door on fire. He managed to put out the flames before the fire could spread.
Police confirmed they had attended a property on the road at 9.21pm after a report of a door being set on fire. They are investigating it as a case of criminal damage.
