SCHOOLS have been urged to sign up for a triathlon event held in Bradford.
The Brownlee Foundation Trust Triathlon event will be held at Bradford Grammar School on Monday, May 22, between 9.30am and 2pm.
Competitors, who will all be Key Stage 2 aged pupils, will swim in the school’s pool, complete an 800-metre cycle ride on grass and run 300m.
No previous experience is necessary and bikes, helmets and swimming caps will be provided.
Competing schools will be allocated a time slot on the day. Each school is invited to bring a maximum of 30 children from any class in Key Stage 2.
The event has been set up by Olympic triathlon stars Alistair and Jonny Brownlee.
Schools are urged to register for the event by Friday, March 31, at tinyurl.com/BrownleeTriBradford.
