THREE suspected burglars have been arrested after a two-hour rooftop stand-off in the city.
Crowds gathered this afternoon after three males climbed onto a roof in Willow Street, Girlington.
West Yorkshire Police said: "We were called to the street at approximately 1.15pm to reports of an ongoing burglary at a domestic premises.
"Three males had climbed onto a roof and there had been reports of objects being thrown from the roof though there are no reports of any injuries.
"An ambulance had been put on stand-by in case of any injuries.
"Officers were sent to try and bring the males down safely and they were arrested at 3.23pm on suspicion of burglary, affray and criminal damage."
Police said the men were aged 20, 17, and 17.
